‘Maximising Potential In A Safe And Friendly Environment’
Welcome
Welcome to our school website! I hope it gives you an insight into our school, our ethos and the many experiences and opportunities we offer our pupils.
Anyone who has ever visited King’s Park will know it is a welcoming and caring school with a strong family ethos. Our children are happy, friendly and enjoy learning. We believe that happy, motivated children learn best and it is our desire that every child leaves King’s Park with great memories of their time at primary school. We have a dedicated and talented staff who work tirelessly to ensure each child reaches their potential in all areas. We have high standards and value all our children, encouraging them to grow and develop in all areas of their life. We believe in partnership and work alongside parents and the wider community to secure the best start in life for our children.
Our vision statement is ‘Maximising Potential In A Safe And Friendly Environment’. We care for each of our pupils and are committed to helping them achieve their best. We are proud of our school and its pupils.

2024 Charity Donations
At this time of year, we support both members of our local community and those further afield with our collections for our Community Harvest. Already this year, we were blown away by the generosity of our school community when we collected a huge amount of food for Newtownabbey Foodbank.
If you wish to support either charity further, please click on the buttons below. Thank you for your generosity.
Our Ethos - #BelongBelieveBecome
Our mission statement is ‘Maximising Potential In A Safe And Friendly Environment’ - but how do we do that?
We believe that pupils who are happy, feel safe and have a strong sense of belonging are best positioned to learn effectively. We work hard to ensure that every child feels safe and supported at King’s Park, and assisted by our behaviour policy, we promote a ‘ready, respectful and safe’ environment. It is in this culture that pupils can recognise and develop their own personal strengths and interests; where they can foster positive attitudes and aspirations towards learning.
With increased awareness of self, we hope that our pupils develop an increased belief in themselves and what they can achieve, taking educated risks and pushing themselves to reach their fullest potential. We celebrate all our children’s achievements, excellent academic success, creative endeavours and triumphs on the sporting field. With the right support and direction, our pupils can become lifelong learners, contributing citizens and well-rounded individuals.
Collectively, these children can shape the future of this community, this country and the world.
